Linda Community School
Linda community school is located in the Livingstone district in southern province of Zambia. It lies to the south of the city that is in Nansanzu zone Linda Township about 3 kilometres from the city and the DEBS office.
Linda community school was founded on 14th October 1996. The school was one of the projects that were being run by the Livingstone street children association (LISCA School). The school was an intervention measure for the former street children and a prevention measure for the children at risk to go to the street. The school works with orphans, children in conflict with the law, HIV positive children and street children. The first priority is given to double orphans meaning both parents are dead, second priority is given to single orphans and 5% to vulnerable with both parents, mostly from young parents, too old parents, disabled parents and sick parents (chronically ill...

Dream Livingstone Zambia School
Dream Livingstone Zambia is a registered non-governmental, non-profit making and non-denominational organisation (registration number 78627). It was created to help the Livingstone community to become a better place to live through the support of education, as well as relieving the effects of poverty and HIV/AIDS (in particular with regard to the many orphans there). Its projects aim to be sustainable and to help the community become self-reliant. As well as supporting vulnerable children in schools and facilitating income-generating projects, Dream Livingstone is presently building a school for children in the Highlands area in Livingstone, a free school for vulnerable children.
